Course Level 1: Introductory

This course introduces you to the skills and knowledge on various topics associated with working in an occupational hygiene environment. The course begins by introducing you to chemical and biological hazards. You will learn how to prevent biological agents from replicating and about diseases that can arise from contact with certain biological agents.
You will then learn about noise and the health effects associated with excessive noise, and how to assess and control the level of noise in the workplace. From here, the course will introduce you to different ways exposure to vibration can be harmful to you and how to measure vibration.
