This course begins by introducing the main examples of organisational performance issues and the processes used to handle these types of employee problems. You will gain an understanding of how to investigate performance issues and the options that are available for dealing with employee problems and disciplinary intervention. Employee rights are then discussed in relation to job protection, employee privacy, unionization and the process of collective bargaining.
Next, you will learn about the steps involved in designing a performance appraisal and the reasons why a systematic performance evaluation system should be implemented. You will also learn about the goals of performance evaluation.
