Introduction to Responsive Design using Bootstrap

Bootstrap is a framework for developing responsive mobile first projects on the web. This course describes how to use Bootstrap in a Visual Studio development environment, and how you can add Bootstrap components and themes to your website. The course begins by introducing you to Bootstrap, how Bootstrap can help with developing and maintaining a website, and how to use Bootstrap in Visual Studio. The course teaches you about page design and positioning content in Bootstrap’s grid system. Next, you will be introduced to components in Bootstrap. You will learn about the three main groups of components, about grouping components for organizing webpage content and how to use Bootstrap objects.

You will be introduced to glyphicons and buttons, and how to include them in a website. The course also covers navigation components which you can include in a website such as a Navbar and Pagination. Finally, you will be introduced to page design and page layout. There are four different grids depending on screen size and you will learn how these grids work and how to include them in a website. The course teaches you about moving and controlling placement of content in a grid, and about creating a form for data entry.
