The course Essential Management Skills for the Workplace will teach you to essential workplace skills that will help you be a more effective and successful manager.

The course begins by introducing you to aspects of change management and how to implement change within a business or organization. You will then learn about bargaining and the strategies you can use to increase your bargaining power. You will learn about the five qualities that all workplace objectives should have and how they should be SMART – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound. You will learn about assertiveness and how assertive behavior is the emotionally intelligent mid-point on a scale which starts with passive at one end and leads to aggressive at the other. You will also learn how to reflect an inner confidence outwardly by being serious about your appearance, making eye contact with the other person, and controlling your hands, feet and facial expressions.
